Inventory Column Descriptions

The Inventory Grid displays a wide range of information on each item. This data is obtained by Seller Engine Plus from Amazon's API.

Sort by the value in a particular column

  • Click on the column header you want to sort by.
  • To reverse the order click on the column header again.
  • The sorting column being will show a small arrow displayed close to its right margin.
  • If you add an inventory item into a sorted list the item will show at the end of the list, it will not fall into the correct place in the sorted inventory list. The items need to be reordered again by clicking the header.

Sort by multiple columns

  • Click on the primary sorting column header.
  • While pressing the Shift key on your keyboard click on the secondary sorting column. You will now notice the items being primarily sorted by the first column. Items with an identical primary sorting attribute will also be sorted by the second sorting attribute.

Customize the order of the columns

  • Click on the column header and drag it to the desired position. You can scroll over by dragging it to the header portion at the far right or left of the screen. The columns will scroll over. When it is in the desired position, release the mouse button.
  • Use the 'Customize Grid Columns' dialog, which can be accessed by the following methods:
    • Right mouse click anywhere in the Inventory list and select 'Customize Grid Columns' from the drop-down menu.
    • Select 'Customize Columns' from the 'View' menu.

Inventory Columns Described

Column Name: Column Description

No.:  The database index number for your item. This is useful only for keeping track of where an item is located in the list. Note: when you resort the list, the indices of y our items will change. If the list is sorted by this column, adding an item will simply add it to the end of the list.

Product Group: The product group in which the listing is included within the Amazon catalog category/product group menu.

Item Type: Relevant for media items, it shows the type of media (Book, DVD, CDs, etc.)

Open Date: Date when you first listed the item on Amazon. Info is retrieved and updated only by requesting an open listings report.

Listed on AmazonShows info on whether or not an item is currently listed on your account. Obtain/Refresh this information by importing your listings and by running a price check. Possible values are:
Yes - this item is an active listing on your Amazon ProMerchant seller account.
No - this item is in your inventory list, but is not an active listing.
Unknown - SellerEngine Plus has not yet retrieved information from Amazon for this item, so it is unknown whether the listing is active on your Amazon ProMerchant seller account or not. 

Listing ID: Unique ID assigned by Amazon to your listing.

ListedState: Indicates whether the item is part of the FBA program and is being sent to an Amazon fulfillment center, or if the item is Merchant Fulfilled. An item is merchant fulfilled if it is ordered on Amazon and shipped to the customer by the third party seller, not by Amazon.

My ListedState on Amazon: Shows your ListedState on Amazon; this may be different from the ListedState value for an item if you're in the process of converting it to FBA. 

SKU: Displays the merchant SKU assigned to the listing.

ASIN / ISBN / UPC / EAN (Product ID): Displays the product ID used to identify items on the Amazon platform. This can be the UPC or EAN barcode on the item or packaging, ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 codes (for books), or the ASIN code - Amazon's unique identifier for each product catalog page.

Product ID Type: Specifies what type of Product ID is displayed in the ASIN/ISBN/UPC/EAN field.

UPC: Displays the item's UPC code - this set of values is no longer provided by Amazon; this field will also not populate if you are scanning in items using their UPCs and can only be populated by importing items from a file.

EAN: Displays the item's UPC code.

Asin1: This shows the real ASIN under which the item is listed or which has been assigned to the item's product ID. Sometimes a UPC, EAN, or ISBN code is associated to multiple catalog pages on Amazon. 
Asin2, Asin3: Legacy fields; they're present in the Inventory Loader templates and it used to have a purpose but right now they are not being used.

FNSKU: The Fulfilment Network SKU is a unique code assigned to your FBA items once they're added to an FBA shipment. Merchant fulfilled items will not display this code.

Title: The title of the product. It is automatically retrieved from Amazon.

Condition: The item's condition. See the Amazon condition definitions for more information.

FBA Warehouse Condition: The condition of your item after it's been received and processed by Amazon. 

Item Note: Your description of the item. This is the description specific to your item or listing, and the product catalog page description of the item.

Inventory Quantity: The quantity you currently have in your local inventory. This column will show you the quantity available for sale on Amazon only for merchant fulfilled active listings. It is also used for restocking FBA listings - specify the quantity you want to send in to FBA then click Add to Shipment. For FBA listings available stock check the Amazon Quantity column. 

Shipment Quantity: Shows the quantity currently placed in a shipment. This value changes to zero once a shipment is received and processed by Amazon.

Units per Case: If an item is being sent in to FBA in cases this field will show the number of units included in a case.

Amazon Quantity (FBA): This shows the quantity available at FBA warehouses for your Amazon fulfilled listings.

Reprice SchemaThe name of the reprice schema assigned to the item.

Paid Price: The price you originally paid for the item. This value can be specified when adding or editing an item, and can be used to define lower limit calculation in repricing.

Minimum Price, Maximum Price: A minimum/maximum price that you set to the item, this can be set manually and can be referenced in repricing for defining lower/upper limits. These fields do not correlate to the min/max price fields in SellerCentral, this means that if these values are defined in there they will not import in the software nor will they upload from SellerEngine Plus to overwrite min/max price values in SellerCentral.

Last Price: The price you had assigned to your item before running a price check on that item.

Price: The price you have set for that item.

Price Changed By: This displays the difference between Last Price and Price or, in other words, by how much the price was changed on the last reprice action compared to what the price was set to previously.

Price+Shipping: Your total price including shipping as it is calculated based on your Shipping Credit Preferences. 

Recommended Price: The price recommended by the reprice schema assigned to the item. Value is set after a reprice is completed.

Price Check Status: The progress and status of your price check on this item. A number of different icons are used in the column, and the meaning of their values can be configured through the Price Status Flags dialog.

Last Checked Date: The date of the last price check affecting the item.

My Price on Amazon: The current price at which you have the item listed on Amazon. This information does not update automatically after a price change takes place on Amazon, you need to run a price check to update this column with what's currently in Amazon.

My Shipping on Amazon: Your shipping rates as specified on Amazon.

My Price+Shipping on Amazon: The current price including shipping at which you have the item listed on Amazon.

Sales Rank: Displays the Amazon sales rank for the item. This can vary dramatically from hour to hour, so use this column with care.

I have the Buy Box: Tells you whether or not you had the Buy Box for an item at the time when data was last retrieved from Amazon.

Buy Box New Price+Shipping: The New Buy Box price including shipping. 
Buy Box Used Price+Shipping: The Used Buy Box price including shipping. 

List Price: The item's MSRP, what the publisher/manufacturer recommends that the retailer should sell the item for. Amazon almost always sells below this, as do independent sellers.

Megaseller Price: Price belonging to the bucket of offers that most likely includes Amazon's offer.

Lowest Price: Lowest price for which the item is currently sold on Amazon considered regardless of condition and fulfillment channel.

Lowest Price+Shipping: Lowest price including shipping currently available on Amazon.

Lowest FBA Price: Lowest price from the Amazon-fulfilled offers for the item.

Number of Listings: The total number of offers for the item. This data is broken down in the columns below.

No Reprice: When this flag is set, if you have a reprice schema assigned to your item, the application will not change the Price field during a reprice operation, but rather set the new calculated price to the Recommended Price field. If no schema is assigned to the item, this field is ignored.

Automatic Reprice: Enables/disables automatic reprice for the item.

Export to Amazon: Defines whether an item is included in export operations. If the option is set, it will be included when uploading items to amazon or exporting the inventory to a file.

Delete from Amazon: Defines whether the item will be removed from your listings on the next upload. This is one of the ways to remove listings from Amazon.

Upload Status: Shows the status of an upload that was just executed including uploads to create new listings, to reprice or modify anything else about a listing, or to delete listings. It also shows the status of price changes uploaded during Automatic Reprice.

Upload Error: If the processing report in SellerCentral shows errors for any of the uploaded SKUs, the error message will be displayed in this column.

Uploaded Last TimeShows you when item/changes to the listing were uploaded last.

Sorter: The sorter associated with the entry. Sorters can only be assigned to items as they are added to shipments. In the current release, a sorter cannot be added to an entry in the Edit window.

SorterResult: Value triggered after running the sorter for the item.

Availability: Whether Amazon and other sellers have the book in stock.

Tax Code: The tax code assigned to an item; this value can be changed through the software using the Tax Code dropdown in the Edit window.

Size: Product dimensions. This field is for internal use only, and does not get populated with information coming from Amazon.

Weight: Shows the weight of the item.

Image URL: The URL of the product image from the Amazon catalog.

Shipping Estimation: Estimated shipping credit received from Amazon for Merchant fulfilled items; the estimation is based on Shipping Credit settings in Preferences, and on Weight & Dimensions values retrieved from Amazon (not values set manually in the software). Shipping Estimation is calculated/updated using Get New Price Data and Reprice.

International Shipping: Shows if you're offering international shipping for an item. The No value is assigned by default. The Amazon default will be assigned (US only). US Only - US delivery only. Worldwide - The item can be shipped internationally.

Expedited Shipping: A check-box field that shows if the item is available for expedited shipping.

Media: Displays different types of media items - hardback, paperback, etc.

Media Number: Number of items contained in an item (for example a book can consist of 2 volumes or an audio disc of 2 CDs).

Release Date: Date when the product was officially released to the public.

Manufacturer: Company that provides the item (Publisher in the case of books)

Brand: The brand of the item

Publisher: Applies to books and specifies the name of the company that published the book.

Studio: The studio where the DVD/CD was produced and recorded.

Rating: Audience rating for DVD and VHS items.

Platform: Shows the gaming platform for Video Game items (PlayStation, Nintendo, etc)

Edition: Details about the edition of the book, shows if it's a first edition book, a reprint or other relevant details.

Format: Shows format type for DVD and Video Game items (PAL, Subtitled PAL, Import, etc.)

AgeGroup: The age group by which the media item can be viewed / listened to.

Director: DVD and VHS specific column; shows the director of the film/movie on the media item.

Authors: The item's author, editor, or manufacturer. Usually applies to books.

Artists: Displays manes of the artists that sign the release. Usually applies to music items. 

Starring: DVD and VHS specific column; shows actors starring in the film.

Features: Shows features specific to the item.

Custom Condition: Value set by user to use when editing SKU and item description to differentiate between identical items in slightly different conditions. This is for internal use only.

Local SKU: Your Local SKU, this differs from the Merchant SKU, and is set for internal purposes only.

User Data: Information input by the user for their own reference, this is like a blank field to be used for whatever purpose it can serve.

LocationLocal-only field used for keeping track of any location data you might need about your item.
